I use this product around once a month. as at £35.00 it's hardly a hair product that can be used daily. The texture of it at first isn't oily, it's literally solid. I rub it into my hands to make it oily and just run it through my hair (I have abandoned the brush that comes with it). It smells a bit like tobacco mixed with mud, it's very odd but not too unpleasant. This product really impresses me, more than any other treatment has done before and I've tried my fair share! It's a shame that it's so dear but it's understandable as it is one of the best in the business.
Ojon recommend that you leave it on for around 20/30 minutes yet I've always left mine on overnight and washed my hair the next morning (the regular shampoo and conditioner routine). No other products, such as straightening balm, serum, etc, are necessary after using this oil as your hair is restored, feels and appears healthier and also tames it which is good for those with frizzy/curly hair like my own. I used this oil when my hair was long and it was always kept shiny and in prime condition, I still use it now my hair is short and it still does the same job. One pot lasts me around 6 months which is quite decent considering how good it is. I strongly recommend it to anyone willing to spend that much money on a hair product, however for those who are apprehensive about the expenditure then I definitely suggest giving 'Inecto Pure Coconut Oil' a try, it can be found on Amazon for £2.40 but is probably the same price, or maybe even cheaper in shops such as Home Bargains or Wilkinsons. It's obviously not going to be AS effective as Ojon but for a first timer and money saver, it probably won't be that much different and it's surely worth a go!
